If you have never booked with us before, the hardest part is usually the menu rather than the appointment. There are a lot of services on it, several of them sound similar, and it is not always obvious which one gets you the nails you have in mind. This is the guide we would give you if you rang the salon and said, honestly, that you were not sure what to ask for.
Booking online takes about a minute
Every Book Now button on this site opens our booking page. Choose your service, pick a time, and confirm — the whole thing takes about a minute. If you would rather speak to someone, the salon is on (416) 203-8888 during opening hours.
Choosing the right service
Nearly every first booking falls into one of three buckets. Work out which one you are in and the rest is easy.
Natural nails
You want your own nails cared for and coloured. Book the Manicure ($29) for regular polish or the Shellac Manicure ($40) for gel polish cured under a lamp. For feet, the Pedicure is $40 and the Shellac Pedicure is $50. If you want both in one visit, Manicure & Pedicure is $60.
Enhancements
You want length, a specific shape, or nails that are stronger than your own. That is a full set: Acrylic / UV ($55+), Bio Gel ($65+) or Gel-X ($65+). If you like your current length and only want reinforcement, an overlay is the smaller booking — Bio Gel Overlay is $60 and Dipping Overlay is $55+.
Removals
You are arriving with something already on. Shellac Removal is $10 and Fake Nail Removal is $20. If you are having a new service afterwards, mention the removal when you book so it is part of the appointment rather than a surprise at the start of it.
Nobody has ever been judged in this room for not knowing what their nails are called.
Bring a photo
This is the single most useful thing a first-time client can do. Bring an inspiration photo on your phone, or DM it to us on Instagram before you come in. A picture settles length, shape, colour and finish in one go, and it removes the risk of two people using the same words for different things. It does not need to be a professional photo or even a good one — a screenshot is fine.
What to book when you are genuinely unsure
- If you want colour and nothing more, book the Manicure ($29) — it is the least you can book and the easiest to build on.
- If you have an event, book shellac, because it is cured before you leave.
- If you want length, book a full set and bring a photo of the shape.
- If you are between two options, call (416) 203-8888 and describe what you want in a sentence. We would much rather have that conversation before the appointment than during it.
It is also worth browsing the Colour Studio on this site before you arrive. Filtering shade families and saving a shortlist means you sit down already knowing roughly where you are heading, which turns the start of the appointment into the good kind of decision-making.
Finding us
We are at 664 Dundas St E, Toronto, ON M5A 2C1 — on Dundas East, a short walk from the Regent Park and Corktown corners of the neighbourhood. Inside, the pedicure chairs run along the stone wall and the manicure stations face them beside the wall of polish colours.
